1st day - Arrival

Arrival and check - in at hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel

2nd day - Villa Melzi + Villa Monastero

Aer breakfast departure to the gardens of Villa Melzi which are situated along the Lake Como (also called Lario). Inside the Villa Melzi, you will nd a small oriental style garden, one of its special features are a water lily pond and Japanese maples. The garden was created in the second half of the 19th Century and designed by the architect Luigi Canonica. Free time for individual lunch. In the aernoon visit of the Villa Monastero. There is a magnicent park around the Villa where you will nd citrus, cypress, pine and agave thrive and extends over more than one kilometre. Statues and reliefs can be seen on the paths between the various mediterranean and tropical plants. Half Board in the hotel.

3rd day - Villa Taranto + Brissago (Switzerland)

After breakfast departure to Villa Taranto. If you want to be able to say that you know the area around the Lago Maggiore, you have to visit the world famous gardens of the Villa Taranto. The garden as you ca see it by today is a product of the botanical passion of Lord McEacharn, which has started in 1931 with the creation of this masterpiece. A visit to the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto is like a journey through distant countries. Free time for individual lunch. Aernoon visit to the islands of Brissago: The Brissago Islands gives you the opportunity to escape from the noise, chaos and stress of your everyday life. The exotic plants, the colors and smells promote our physical and mental wellbeing. Inside the garden you can nd around 1,700 plant species from the Mediterranean, subtropical Asia, South Africa, America and Oceania. Half board in the hotel.

4th day - Estensi - Villa Panza + Garden Villa Ponti

Aer breakfast departure to the Estensi Villa in Varese. The residence, inspired by the most important Italian and European houses, is surrounded by a impressing park. Aer this you will visit the Villa Panza which is surrounded by a magnicent Italian garden, the Villa Lia Panza Menafoglio Biumo was built in the middle of the eighteenth century by Marquis Paolo Antonio Menafoglio and expanded by architect Luigi Canonica in the classical period. The villa is famous worldwide for its collection of art by Giuseppe Panza di Biumo, collected since the 50s. The size of the villa is about 33,000 square meters, opened to the city and the Alps and was redesigned in the early decades of the nineteenth century to the principles of the English landscape gardens. Free time for individual lunch. In the aernoon visit of Villa Ponti which is one of the most important tourist aractions of the city. This remarkable residential complex was built by Bartolomeo Pertossi, a wealthy businessman and supporter of Napoleon I in 1760. Despite the many modications and structural changes over the years, Villa Ponti has retained its original charm. Dinner and overnight at Hotel

5th day - Stresa + Isole Borromean

Aer breakfast Full-day excursion to Stresa and the Borromean Islands Stresa is a health resort in the Italian province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola at the western shore of the Lago Maggiore. From here you will have a beautiful view of the Borromean Gulf and its islands. Free time for individual lunch. We suggest a boat trip to the Borromean Islands like Isola Bella, with its beautiful and large garden of the 17th Century, Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermans Island), and the largest, Isola Madre. Artists like Ernest Hemingway and Charles Dickens helped the city to worldwide fame. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

6th day - Villa Cicogna + Villa Cipressi (Lugano)

Aer breakfast departure to Villa Cicogna: The villa was built in 1440 originally as a hunting lodge and was expanded and embellished in 1559. Completely painted of the brothers Campi of Cremona and the members of their school with frescoes, Villa Cicogna represents a typical example of a Renaissance villa. In the gardens there are ponds, fountains, statues, geometric hedges and a magnicent staircase with 156 steps, which ows through the middle of a stream. Free time for individual lunch. In the aernoon you will go to the Villa Cipressi (Lugano). Villa Cipressi is a array of historic buildings and gardens, which were built between 1400 and 1800s. The famous owners of this Villa were in the past the noble family Serponti (1163), Baron Isimbaldi (end of ‘700), the Andreossi family, which particularly took care of the park. In 1980 the Villa was bought by a public voluntary subscription of the citizens and friends of Varenna, and released for public purposes. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

7th day - Villa Carlotta, Villa Pizzo + Como

Aer breakfast departure to Villa Carloa which is a place of rare beauty, where masterpieces of nature ts together in perfect harmony with over 70.000 square meters of gardens and museums. This magnicent mansion was carried by the Marquis Giorgio Clerici at end of 1600: an imposing building, surrounded by a garden with statues, fountains and stairways. The fertility of the ground is particularly sour and makes the park of Villa Carloa, famous for the amazing spring blooming rhododendrons and azaleas in 150 varieties. Free time for individual lunch. In the aernoon visit of Villa Pizzo: The beautiful park was built on the promontory of Lake Como from the family Muggiasca in 1435. In the last century some changes in the park has been taken place. Today you can nd a maze of paths about 23 km long. The park is famous for his various old trees, exotic plants, lemons and many cypress trees. Very impressing are the spring owers. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

8th day – Departure
