1st day – Arrival - Milan

Arrival transfer to the hotel. Time to discover the most beautiful and curious corners of one of the trendiest cities in Italy the Duomo, that is one of Milans most important symbols. The most outstanding example of Gothic-Lombard architecture, the Duomo dates back to 1300. The splendid Galleria Viorio Emanuele called the saloo di Milano (The Milan Lounge): If you walk along its cross-shaped arms, topped by the glass and iron structure, you can see old coee-shops, restaurants, boutiques and historical bookshops. Theater La Scala, the temple to the Opera music. This interesting museum houses exhibits of various costumes and theatre sets that are of great historical and artistic value. Some rooms are dedicated to the La Scala Theaters architecture and the life of the famous composer Giuseppe Verdi, while others house ancient musical instruments, curtains and costumes that belonged to famous artists such as Maria Callas and Rudolf Nureyev. From Piazza della Scala, next visit will be to the to the majestic Castello Sforzesco. This huge brick quadrilateral building was the seat of the Sforza, Dukes of Milan. The municipal art collections are now on display in the castle. Dinner in a restaurant in the city center.

2nd day – Milan

There is a side to Milan that is in continuous evolution, it is the capital of business and progress. Then there is another side that preserves its unchanged traditions. This is the Milan of the historic locales where cuisine has remained the same as it always was, that is characteristic and genuine, and is still oered in places that have remained virtually untouched for centuries. The smells, the tastes, the interior architecture in vaults and red brick, and antique wood furniture take us back to the past full of sublime pleasures, perfected by experience over the centuries. Visit to an ancient cra passed down through the generations that followed to reach us today, famous to have produced one of the most authentic traditional Milanese panetones and today are the custodians of a heritage rich in history and avours. An ancient art being continued today using only the best ingredients. A characteristic and exciting Bar bistrot and restaurant that cannot be overlooked for any ‘neur (wanderer) in Milan. This locale is snuggled into this narrow street that widens up further down where the entrance to the Brera Academy can be found and famous for many artists that frequented it. Some tastings are included during the visit. Overnight at the hotel.

3rd day – Bologna

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Bologna. In the aernoon, guided visit of the city. Piazza Breakfast and departure for Bologna, guided visit of the city. Piazza Maggiore, heart of the ancient city also famous Fountain of Neptune, the palace of ing Enzo, the Podest Palace, the Banchi Palace, the Basilica of San Petronio, the dAccursio Palace, the two towers that are the symbol of Bologna, the Garisenda tower (48 metres) and the Asinelli tower (97 metres), that are the landmarks of the city. Dinner in a local typical restaurant of Bologna.

4th day – Parma and Modena

Aer breakfast departure for Parma, made famous by the immortal gure of Giuseppe Verdi. Visit to the Cathedral dedicated to the Assunta, decorated by Correggio the Battistero the Teatro Regio in neoclassical style of the I century. Continuation to Langhirano and visit of the Museum of Parma ham with sampling of ham and parmesan cheese with tasting. Departure for Modena and visit to Piazza Grande dominated by the romanic Duomo and its bell tower (Ghirlandina) on the same square you may admire the elegant town hall and the Museum palace . Visit to a factory producing the famous balsamic vinegar: sampling and tasting. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

5th day – Ravenna and Ferrara

Breakfast and departure for Ravenna, capital of the Roman Empire of the West and famous for its Byzantine mosaiques. Visit to the complex of San Vitale: the Basilica, Santa Apollinare in Classe the Mausoleum of Teodorico, the tomb of Dante. Free time for lunch. In the aernoon, visit of Ferrara, the perfectly preserved Estense Castle, the cathedral of S.George(II-IV century). Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

6th day – Departure

Transfer from to Milano Malpensa airport and return ight at home
